Cougars Homestand Preview August 15-20

GENEVA, Ill. – The Kane County Cougars welcome the Milwaukee Milkmen and the Gary Southshore Railcats to beautiful Northwestern Medicine Field for a six-game homestand beginning Tuesday, August 15. Homestand highlights include Fan Appreciation Nights with a Northwestern Medicine Blanket giveaway (August 15-16), North Central College Night on Thirsty Thursday (August 17), American Girl Night with a special doll giveaway (August 18), Seinfeld Night with an appearance from Phil Morris (August 19) and more!

Tuesday, August 15 vs. Milwaukee Milkmen at 6:30 p.m. - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

  • Fan Appreciation Night - with tickets provided from Northwestern Medicine.

  • Blanket giveaway for the first 1,500 fans, sponsored by Northwestern Medicine.

  • Taco Tuesday with half price margaritas, sponsored by Cayman Jack. 

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with a Cougars player.

Wednesday, August 16 vs. Milwaukee Milkmen at 6:30 p.m.   - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

  • Fan Appreciation Night - with tickets provided from Northwestern Medicine.

  • North Central College Night with a performance from the NCC Dance Team and NCC Marching Band.

  • North Central College cap giveaway to the first 1,500 fans. 

  • Thirsty Thursday, with $2 beers, hot dogs and sodas, sponsored by Miller Lite. 

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with a Cougars player.

Friday, August 18 vs. Gary Southshore Railcats at 6:30 p.m.- aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.

  • Second Hand News pregame concert in the Yellowstone Music Garden at 5:00 p.m.

  • American Girl Night - NINE American Girl Dolls given away in-game (one per inning).

  • American Girl Doll accessory giveaway for the first 1,500 fans.

  • Fans are encouraged to bring their dolls with them.

  • Post-game fireworks show.

Sunday, August 20 vs. Gary Southshore Railcats at 1 p.m. - aabaseball.tv

  • Pre-game autographs with the Cougars team.

  • Sunday Funday, with half-price KidZone wristbands.

  • Petting zoo and pony rides in the KidZone.
