Cougars Homestand Preview: September 1-4

GENEVA, Ill. – The Kane County Cougars welcome the Lincoln Saltdogs to beautiful Northwestern Medicine Field for a four-game series beginning Friday, September 1. Homestand highlights include Tie Dye Night and  Finally Friday with $2 beers, hot dogs and sodas (September 1), Star Wars Night with a MEGA Spectacular fireworks show (September 2) 80’s Night with entertainment from Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act (September 3), a cap giveaway from Northwestern Medicine (September 4) two jersey auctions and more!

Tickets are available for each game during the upcoming homestand by calling 630-232-8811 or by ordering online at www.kccougars.com.

Friday, September 1 vs. Lincoln Saltdogs at 6:30 p.m. - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.

  • Tie Dye Night with special jerseys - Cougars players will be wearing blue and green tie dye jerseys created by the Joshua Tree Community. The jerseys will be available for auction and all proceeds will directly benefit the Joshua Tree Community.

  • Tie Dye Bucket Hat giveaway for the first 1,500 fans, sponsored by Wintrust.

  • Finally Friday - $2 beers, hot dogs and sodas.

  • In-game entertainment from the ZOOperstars!

  • Post-game fireworks show.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with a Cougars player.

Saturday, September 2 vs. Lincoln Saltdogs at 6:30 p.m.   - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.

  • Pre-game concert from Sammy and The Knights from 5pm to 6pm in the Yellowstone Music Garden. 

  • Star Wars Night - Cougars players will be wearing Star Wars jerseys. The jerseys will be available for auction and all proceeds will directly benefit Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.

  • Star Wars character appearance from the Midwest Garrison and 501st Legion. 

  • MEGA Spectacular post-game firework show.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with a Cougars player.

Sunday, September 3 vs. Lincoln Saltdogs at 6:30 p.m. - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.

  • Pre-game concert from Planet Groove from 5pm to 6pm in the Yellowstone Music Garden. 

  • Pre-game autographs with the Cougars team.

  • Pre-game jump from Chicagoland Skydiving Center.

  • Sunday Funday, with half-price KidZone wristbands.

  • 1980’s Night with music from the ‘80s. 

  • Unused ticket night - if you have an unused ticket from the 2023 season it can be exchanged for the Sunday, September 3 game. Some exclusions apply. 

  • In-game entertainment from Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act.

  • Appearance from the Windy City Ghostbusters.

  • Post-game fireworks show.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with Ozzie and Annie T. Cougar.

Monday, September 4  vs. Lincoln Saltdogs at 1 p.m. - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 12 p.m.

  • Black on black cap giveaway for the first 1,500 fans, sponsored by Northwestern Medicine.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with Ozzie and Annie T. Cougar.
