Cougars Homestand Preview: August 1-6

GENEVA, Ill. – The Kane County Cougars welcome the Cleburne Railroaders to Northwestern Medicine Field for a six-game homestand beginning Tuesday, August 1. Homestand highlights include Bark in the Park (August 1), Video Game Night with a special Nintendo Switch giveaway (August 3) Stranger Things Night with a bobblehead giveaway (August 4) Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act (August 5) and more!

Tuesday, August 1 vs. Cleburne Railroaders at 6:30 p.m. - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

  • Bark in the Park - dogs do not require a ticket but must sit in the lawn.

  • Pre-game dog parade and Anderson Humane dog adoption event.

  • Taco Tuesday with half price margaritas, sponsored by Cayman Jack. 

  • Seniors receive half-price box and reserved seats.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with catcher Dylan Nolan.

Wednesday, August 2 vs. Cleburne Railroaders at 6:30 p.m.   - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

  • Beer Bat giveaway for the first 1,500 fans, sponsored by Tangled Roots.

  • Seniors receive half-price box and reserved seats.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with pitcher Logan Nissen.

Thursday, August 3 vs. Cleburne Railroaders at 6:30 p.m. - aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.

  • Video Game Night with NINE Nintendo Switches given away (one per inning). 

  • Thirsty Thursday, with $2 beers, hot dogs and sodas, sponsored by Miller Lite. 

  • Post-game fireworks show.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

  • Post-game autographs in the team store with pitcher Westin Muir.

Friday, August 4 vs. Cleburne Railroaders at 6:30 p.m.- aabaseball.tv  

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.

  • Asha Zee pregame concert in the Yellowstone Music Garden at 5:00 p.m.

  • Stranger Things Night

  • Stranger Things Bobblehead giveaway for the first 1,500 fans, sponsored by Country Financial.

  • In-game entertainment from America’s Got Talent Christian & Scooby.

  • Post-game fireworks show.

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).

Sunday, August 6 vs. Cleburne Railroaders at 1 p.m. - aabaseball.tv

  • Princess Day, with appearances and singing from Tiana, Belle, Ariel and Rapunzel.

  • Pre-game autographs with the Cougars team.

  • Sunday Funday, with half-price KidZone wristbands.

  • Petting zoo and pony rides in the KidZone

  • Fans can run the bases after the game (weather permitting).
