The following are some of the basic rules and regulations for the ballpark as set by the Kane County Cougars organization and the Forest Preserve District of Kane County: 

  • The ballpark opens one hour prior to game time for all games except those games with pre-game concerts. Gates open 90 minutes prior to game time on dates with pre-game concerts. Exceptions may be made in the event of rain dates and suspended games. Gates open 90 minutes prior to game time for fireworks games and 11:30 AM games.

  • Tailgating is not permitted at the ballpark or in any of the stadium parking lots.

  • Food and beverage are not permitted inside the ballpark. Exceptions are made for infants and guests with special dietary needs. In addition, if the temperature at game time exceeds 90 degrees, bottled water is permitted. No coolers or other bulk containers will be allowed inside the ballpark. 

  • Guests are not permitted on the playing field except during designated times while under the supervision of a Cougars staff member.

  • Devices that make unusually loud sound (i.e.-megaphones or air horns) are not permitted.

  • Solicitors are not permitted on the Event Center grounds (including the parking lots, picnic grounds and stadium) without the prior consent of the Cougars.

  • Strollers are permitted at the ballpark, but there is no designated stroller parking or storage provided.

  • Lawn chairs, blankets and other similar seating are permitted in the lawn areas.

  • Umbrellas are permitted throughout the ballpark. Guests are asked to be considerate and cautious of other guests when using umbrellas.

  • Pursuant to the Smoke-Free Illinois Act 95-0017, there will be no smoking inside the stadium. Electric cigarettes, e-cigarettes vapor cigarettes and anything that mimics the act of smoking also are not permitted. Designated smoking areas are located outside Gate 5 only. Smoking is not permitted within 15 feet of any entrance or exit or any air handling units. Guests failing to comply with the policy may be asked to surrender his / her ticket and leave the ballpark. Please ask your usher or security for more information.

  • Rain Check Policy-If 4½ innings are not played, ticket stubs may be exchanged in person or through the mail for one ticket of equal or lesser value to a remaining regular season home game, based on ticket availability. A suspended game ticket will be redeemable for select dates.

  • The Kane County Cougars reserve the right to the following: revoke the license granted by a ticket; cancel any fireworks show based on weather and/or curfew imposed by the county permit; search any bags/containers brought into the stadium.

  • Ticket holder allows the Cougars to use their likeness in photographs, advertising, audio, and video productions.

  • Ticket holder assumes all risks incidental to the game of baseball, including, but not exclusively, injury resulting from thrown or batted balls, thrown or projected equipment, manually or mechanically projected promotional items, distractions from the game resulting from promotional events, contests, signage, mascots, employees, entertainment, etc, thrown bats or damage to personal property in or adjacent to the ballpark whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the game or event. Holder agrees that the team, owners, its officers, directors and employees, the Kane County Forest Preserve District, its officers and employees, the league, its officers and employees, the participating teams and their players, officers, directors and employees are expressly released by the ticket holder from claims arising from such injuries and hazards.

  • Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited.

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • Firearms and other weapons are expressly prohibited within the confines of the stadium and all violations shall be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

  • As a general rule, please leave all unnecessary items at home.

  • You may be subject to a cursory search upon entering the ballpark.
