Jim Brower returns for his
second season as the pitching coach
at Kane County. Brower pitched for
nine seasons in the Majors from
1999-2007 with the Indians, Reds,
Expos, Giants, Braves, Orioles,
Padres and Yankees. He pitched in
Japan in 2008 before missing the
2009 season due to surgery. Brower
finished his playing career in Italy
in 2010. The right-hander led the
Majors with 89 appearances in 2004
while with San Francisco.
