The game is: ON

There is NO SET TIME for the cancellation of a game because the weather is different each day and includes different circumstances. It is unlikely that a game will be cancelled before the scheduled game time. Anytime weather is an issue, we weigh factors including the amount of rain the field has already absorbed and the forecast including likelihood, duration and amount of additional rain possible. The decision to cancel a game due to weather is made with all these factors in mind, most importantly the safety of our guests.

When weather is an issue we make decisions that are in the best interests of the majority of our guests. While some only want to attend a game on a perfect day, there are others who want us to play if possible because they're celebrating a special occasion or have gone to great lengths to coordinate many schedules to enjoy a Cougars game together. We have all of these guests and opinions in mind each day and make our decisions with everyone in mind.

. Please keep in mind weather forecasts in the media are often intended to cover an area of well over 100 square miles. We utilize several sources including a weather service to pinpoint our location on a map and give us forecasts specific to our location to make the best decisions possible.

If you are unsure about today's weather, please check this page right before you leave for the ballpark.

If the game has been cancelled, what happens next?

If the game is OFFICIALLY cancelled, hold on to your ticket stubs, they are valuable. Rainout tickets may be exchanged for ANY remaining regular season game during the season based on availability. If you would like to attend a Saturday game or the All-Star Game on June 19, there will be an additional $2 per ticket charge. Tickets may be exchanged in person at the box office or through the mail. If you mail your tickets, please be sure to include your top three game choices. Tickets can be mailed to:

For the baseball teams, a game cancelled due to weather is often made up as part of a double header (two consecutive games) the following day. You are NOT REQUIRED to use your tickets for that make up game. We give you the flexibility to choose another date that fits your schedule, based on ticket availability. Whatever date you choose, your tickets from the cancelled game need to be exchanged with our ticket office for the new date and we cannot guarantee the same seats for the new date.

The following games have been rained out in 2012:

If you have tickets from one of these dates, those tickets are now rain checks which may be exchanged for another game this season, based on availability.
