When does the game end? Like the major leagues, the Cougars
play a nine inning game (extra innings
in case of ties) without a time limit.
While most nine inning games are played
in approximately two hours and thirty
minutes, some games take longer and some
games are completed more quickly.
Incidentally, in the event of a
double-header (two consecutive games in
one day) each game is only seven innings
long, by league rule.
How can I get tickets? Season tickets and ticket packages
(a predetermined series of between 5-20
games throughout the season) are sold
year-round through the Cougars Office.

Is the game still on? This is the single-most common
question asked when the weather is
questionable. Games are always on as
scheduled in the days leading up to each
game. On the day of the game, weather
forecast are continuously evaluated at
the ballpark but since the weather here
changes (for better and worse) often,
games are rarely cancelled any more than
two hours before the scheduled start
time.
Of course, you are welcome to inquire
anytime, but if it’s any more than 3
hours before the scheduled game time you
will almost certainly be informed “the
game is still on”.
If a game is cancelled, it is first
posted on our website homepage. Area
radio stations are next to be notified
and many include updates in their
newsbreaks.
Are food and drinks
available at the ballpark? YES, the Cougars offer a complete
line of ballpark favorites and lots of
other featured items. Along with hot

many other imported beers.

and drink? There is no outside food and
beverage permitted inside the ballpark.

special dietary and/or medical needs,
such as small children, elderly or
pregnant women. Alcohol of any kind
brought in from the outside is not
permitted. On days with expected
temperatures to reach 90 degrees or
above, water bottles will be permitted

need a ticket for the game if they do
not occupy seats. You may purchase a
seat for such a child if you would like
them to have their own seat.
Will the players sign
autographs?
YES, most players are usually happy to
sign autographs for their fans.
Remember, they don’t always have a pen
and before the game begins is the best
time to meet them. Watch for special
“Autograph Sessions” when fans are
allowed to come onto the field and meet
the players for pictures and autographs.
These typically occur for 10 minutes in
the last half hour before game time. By
league rule, players are not allowed to
sign autographs during the game.
Will you make announcements
during the game?
YES, we are happy to announce guests
birthdays, anniversaries and even the
occasional marriage proposal as time
allows during the game. Visit the

make all of the announcements requested,
but we’ll sure try.

May fans keep baseballs
that land in the seating areas?

You may not reach over a fence or
barrier though to grab a ball that is
“in play”. Finally, BE CAREFUL, they are
hard baseballs and sometimes reach the
crowd at great speed.
What is a lawn seat ticket?

either of the grassy slopes on either
side of the ballpark. Fans may sit right
on the grass or are welcome to bring
beach blankets and/or lawn chairs for
their comfort.
Can I bring my child in a
stroller?
YES, strollers are welcome however there
is no designated space for stroller
parking or storage during the game.
Please plan to fold your stroller in
your seating area when not in use.
What are Rain Checks?
If a game is OFFICIALLY rained out each
ticket becomes a Rain Check. Rain Checks
may be redeemed for a ticket to any
other regular season game, based on
availability. Rain Checks HAVE VALUE and
should be treated as cash (don’t lose or
destroy them). If a group of four has
tickets for a game that is rained out,
they must present four rain checks
(tickets for the rained out date) to
receive four tickets for their new date
of choice in exchange.
Do you accept credit cards?

113.
