We have a winner in our first-ever Cougars Baseball Bracketology contest! Last month, we pre-selected 16 worthy candidates that we chose as fans’ favorite parts of coming to a Cougars game. Items such as our signature Barbeque Pork Chop Sandwich, Fireworks, and our very own Ozzie were some of the choices in our bracket. Throughout the process we asked you, the fan, to complete your bracket each round and help narrow down our Sweet 16 to a championship matchup.

Last week, our two worthy opponents were Quality Time with Family and Friends and Affordability. Both items were clearly a top choice among the hundreds of fans who filled out a bracket. After tabulating the choices, our Baseball Bracketology winner is none other than Affordability, which garnered 65 percent of the fans’ choices in the final round. No knock on Quality Time whatsoever, but the topic of Affordability was the clear-cut winner as numerous examples include free parking, tickets starting at $8, and affordable food and beverage options that won’t break the bank. All of these reasons are what put Affordability over the top and the official winner.
