Our first
stadium renovation update of March comes in
like a lion - lots of photos and updates for
you this week as we’re officially 40 days
from the Cougars’ home opener on April 13.
Let’s start from the bottom and work our way
up with stadium news:
- The green
paint job along the concourse seems to be
complete. I’ll let you be the judge when
looking at the photos below, but I think
fans are really going to like the color of
the steel beams and concourse covering.
- In the atrium
area, preliminary work has started within
the elevator shaft, which will take suite
holders up to the second level.
- Handrails have
been installed in the hallway connecting the
atrium to the home plate concourse.
- Moving
upstairs to the commissary, coolers and
freezers have been added, as well as other
catering-related needs.
- The suites are
getting drop ceiling added, along with the
installation of thermostats and electric/TV
cable outlets.
- Some of the
temporary plastic weatherproofing has been
removed from the 3rd base suites, as well as
the Super Suite behind home plate.
