With the announcement of Ryne Sandberg
returning to manage the Peoria Chiefs in
2008, fans will have seven opportunities to
see the Cubs great at Elfstrom Stadium.
Sandberg, a 2005 Hall of Fame inductee,
returns to Kane County for the July 9-11
homestand, as well as a Labor Day weekend
series August 29-September 1.
Cubs ticket packages are on sale now and
feature all seven games against the
Sandberg-led Chiefs, as well as three
additional games, including Father’s Day.
Package holders enjoy seats near the Chiefs
dugout on the third base side and also
receive exclusive privileges throughout the
season, such as an invitation to a free
pre-game picnic, package holder t-shirts,
and complimentary tickets to Opening Day.
